Who We Are
We are a coalition of former Oak’s Camp staff, members of the local church body, and believers who know Christ + Camp = Transformation. We know after years of experience that making camp financially affordable for and culturally responsive to our neighbors in low income urban communities is one of the most effective ways to bring the power of the gospel, discipleship, and leadership development to our cities.
Camp provides a temporary community where campers experience unconditional love, age appropriate challenge, exposure to new experiences, the beauty of God’s natural revelation, and the security of Christian community - not to mention physical safety, three great meals a day, and a cozy cabin to sleep in.
