Evening of Celebration
Join the OMV Board and other supporters like you as we celebrate what God has done to bring back and to reimagine the ministry of The Oaks post COVID. We will have a catered dinner beginning at 5pm at board member Mike McCleary’s house, followed by a trip up the hill to THE OAKS to take in the Saturday evening program starting at 8:00pm. This event is not a fundraisier. It is a God praiser. We will not be soliciting funds. We ask each person to cover the cost of dinner so all of our rescource can be put to getting more deserving urban youth out of the city and up to camp for life transformation in Christ.

Catalyst Camp - Condensed Week

St. Patty's Pickleball Clinic and Play
Join us for fun in the sun. Support a great cause that gets urban youth out of the city and up to the mountains for Christian camp. GearBox is sponsoring the event at a private two court site with top talent for a clinic, followed by refreshments, and play.

Summer Camp - Middle School / High School Week #1
Registration opens January 15th, 2023. Price is $225/person for urban ministry partners coming as a group and providing their own counseling staff. Angel Tree Scholarship approved and qualified campers coming to us through Prison Fellowship only need to provide a $40 refundable deposit to sign up. Angel Tree takes care of the rest.

Spark 3 Retreat

Youth Advisory Crew Meeting
Urban youth workers uniting to collaborate with Oasis Ministry Ventures to design the best and most impactful camps for their students. This Fall Gathering will provide details on the Spark 3 retreat for those ministries attending from 9-10am, then from 10-12 we will focus on re-inventing summer camp for urban youth at Mountain Pointe Camp in 2023 as we look to continue the best of what was The Oaks, and bring fresh wind and fire to the programming.
LA Christian School Camping Trip
We are taking Los Angeles Christian School students in 7th and 8th grade for a camping adventure in Joshua Tree National Park, Indian Cove Group Campsite. Parents, please contact Grace Leong, Asst. Principal for more information and a registration link later this fall.
Open House
Join us for a country picnic in the mountains! See where we will be holding three weeklong camps in 2023 for urban youth. Enjoy a bluegrass concert, tour the camp, hear Bishop Henry Hearns (former Mayor of Lancaster, CA) share our vision along with others, and have family fun with the recreation options in the beauty of the mountains. A complimentary picnic meal of hamburgers and hot dogs will be served for those who register in advance, vegetarian option offered too.
