Beliefs and Values

We Believe

  • The Bible as inspired by the Holy Spirit is our infallible, final, and authoritative source of truth for living an abundant life that glorifies God. (2 Tim. 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20)

  • The primary mission Jesus gave His followers is to declare the Good News of Jesus Christ and to make disciples through servant leadership. (Matt. 28:19, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:17, John 13:4-17John 21:15-19)

  • There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

  • Jesus Christ is the son of God, begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of Mary, a virgin, and is fully God and fully human. (Matthew 1:18-23, 1 Peter 1:18-21,)

  • We are created in the image of God, that we are loved by Him and due to sinful inheritance and choices, we are separated from God under His righteous judgement and by His Holy nature. (Gen. 1:26, Romans 3:23)

  • The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary and complete sacrifice to restore God’s love relationship, and that all who repent and believe in Him are justified as acceptable to God apart from any human merit or works, based on His graciously shed blood and bodily resurrection. (Romans 3:24, 25a; 4:5)

  • Jesus ascended to heaven where He is our High Priest and Advocate, the head of the Church and Lord of our life until he comes again visibly and personally to make all things new. (John 16:5-16)

  • That the Holy Spirit indwells every person of faith as children of God, convicting us of sin, empowering us to defeat sin and to become new creations, giving us gifts to build the Church, and interceding for us to the Father. (Romans 8, Acts 2)

  • There will be bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, resulting in everlasting reward for the saved, and everlasting punishment for the lost. (John 5:24-29)
